About Me

In my consulting career patterns of organization design and behaviour were my subjects. Then I stepped into the artistic realm to explore visual patterns of lines and shapes in the garden, in landscapes, and in the macro world of flowers, plants and nature.

These images are contained in Portfolios such as Marvelling the Mushroom, Flowerography and Garden Explorations.  They focus on the beauty of the floral, garden and natural realm - in their petals, seeds, leaves, stems and bark, and in the compositional beauty of gardens. There are many orchard images in my gallery - Niagara is abundant with tender fruit such as peaches, plums, and of course pears and apples.  There are rose growing fields here, along with massive greenhouses growing pot plants for Christmas, Easter and Autumn.  Flowers as far as you can see.

I photograph things that are mundane and bland and look to create something in them - abstract images from the scratches, bumps, and bruises in the environment. This is where peeling paint, rust and decay blossom into new forms to create the Urban Extractions Series, In-significance and Whimsy in Rust.  These are abstract images that are all the more fascinating when their origin is known.  I work with multiple images to create Montages such as Up Against The Wall.  And then also work with multiple in-camera exposures.

I hope these pictures are interesting to you and that you enjoy them.
