I haven't much interest in emojis, and wondered why that is. I seem to think they are connected to pictographs, as they are pictures which resemble what they signify, and that's what emojis are as well. But there's no link in Wikipedia.
How widespread are emojis? I was able to find some emoji jokes. I had to find the translations to read them, so here they are, along with Parking Lot abstracts. I think you know the answer to the last one.
