Hair wasn't much on our minds just like toilet paper wasn't. We have shared a common view on hair - relative cleanliness and styles that make us look acceptable and attractive so that our hair flatters us. And then the lock-down happened and people went wild over toilet paper, and then looked at their hair. We saw the different approaches to the lock-down with many people immediately cutting their own hair (after stocking up on toilet paper) as though some urge got hold of people right away in March to early April. And then it eased off. The pictures showed the ragged look, the asymmetrical look, the shaved look, the bowl cut, etc. When I got to thinking of it, the lock-down does not nearly approach the best of the worst hairstyles.
What is the number 1 worst hairstyle? The rat tail. It occurs on men. The picture in the Ranker post shows a bald headed man except for the hair that is shaped into a rat, along with the rat pony tail trailing down the neck. What else made it truly creepy? There is almost as much hair on his back as his head.
The number two worst is the Mullet, followed by the 'portrait' where hair is made into a face on the back of the year. Farrah Fawcett's 'feathered locks' comes in as a terrible haircut on a number of lists. Trump's comb-over comes in at number four and that picture is scary too. To find the worst, I went to 'ranker' HERE. And then to pinterest to get these two comparisons for Trump:
Our pictures of the day continue with views of RBG's rose garden. I admire photographer Jessica Jenney's garden images because she has created beautiful pastel skies that match her garden's colours. I felt like I was able to do the same for the RBG rose garden image below. And this is followed by the Alliums and the Roses image - what a contrast of colours and shapes!
