Experience This!

I wonder what age we are in now?  It isn't the information age anymore to me.  So I went looking for what it might be called:  welcome to the Experience Age.  The author is Mike Wadhera, founder of Teleport.

"Twenty-five years after the introduction of the World Wide Web, the Information Age is coming to an end. Thanks to mobile screens and Internet everywhere, we’re now entering what I call the “Experience Age.”
When was the last time you updated your Facebook status? Maybe you no longer do? It’s been reported that original status updates by Facebook’s 1.6 billion users are down 21 percent."

You can read his article HERE.
The Age of Experience is at the top of the list so far.  Here's a great example in which everyone's opinion is input to the next 'age'.

"Top 30 Suggestions to Names the " Post Information Age" - What's Your Fave?"

(That's a quote - I didn't make those grammar errors).  What the article contains is posted book covers that people have submitted.  Each of them has a title that indicates the next era.  Samples include:  Conceptual Age, Participation Age, Creative Economy, Personalization Era, The Dream Society, The Experience Economy.  The are HERE.

What is Christmas in the Experience Age?  Here's a typical headline:  "Designed to captivate visitors of all ages, Winter Wonderland is a delightful authentic experience for the whole family to enjoy".

And this one:  Rather than buying more stuff this Christmas, why not give an active, creative or relaxing....No experience necessary, suitable for ages 8+ (this is a Christmas travel article).

Looks like it is time for a chocolate cookie.
