Jammies for your families

Do you have Christmas pajamas? If you do, you will be living in North America.  In Britain they have pyjamas.

Entire families in red and green Christmas trees, Dr. Seuss holiday wear, Buffalo plaid, Polar bear goldilocks sets, moose sets, red and white stripes almost seeming like prison wear. Don't forget the flapjack back pyjamas and the footed pajamas. There are pajamas for dogs to make the family set complete - they are available at thepajamacompany.com - your site for everything pajama.

Pajamas used to be for lounging - now they are worn for all kinds of activities.  There are rules of thumb about 'where to wear' them - grocery shopping at 12 am?  No problem as long as it is after 9 pm.

There are always exceptions: Caddo Parish, Louisiana, tried to pass an ordinance prohibiting people from wearing pajamas in public.  This seems to me to be difficult - how would you know the difference between pajamas and sweat pants? The article indicates they were combating the loss of the 'moral fibre' of society.

What happens when pajamas are really expensive? They gain a new name - sleepwear or nightwear.

There isn't  much social interest involving Guinness Records and expensive pajamas.   Compare this lack of interest to the great interest in the most expensive toilet.  The Guinness Book of Records does have the largest pyjama party - it was in Britain, so we'll spell it the British way.

We'll take a look at a model railroad in Sacramento today .
