Jan 9 2020 - Snow Globe Dining

What is this thing called Snow Globe Dining?  Niagara Falls' Queen Victoria Park is setting up dining domes that seat six for dinner at $999.00.  This goes from Jan 16 - Feb 16 2020.

Snow globe dining has been going on in London England for a few years. They have a guide to the best igloos in London for 2020.  You can see the pictures HERE. The website is designmynight.com.  I bet these are expensive parties, like the Niagara Falls dining experience.

The Niagara Falls website says the domes are at the brink of the Falls.  That would be amazing and the pictures look enticing - they are on the sidewalk at the wall.  And think of the snow and ice at the Falls.  This could be quite the experience.

We can buy a snow globe from Bespoke Restaurant Globes.  The London  UK company sells automobile display globes, Easter themed props and giant eggs, Christmas lighting display globes, Santa grottos, and even 'inflatable cash grabbers'.  I like the pictures of those - with paper money flying and floating about.

I wonder if our Niagara Falls globes came from this company or from the US manufacturer Gardenigloo.  I hopped over to see what we might do in our own backyards.  Amazon comes up on top - for $2,829.48 Canadian we can buy a winter sun room 8 person camping tent for family outdoor garden backyard green house play area.  If we want a double layer one, that's $3,499.

If we go directly to Gardenigloo, they show one that's $849. - that would be US dollars. Check out their great photos HERE.  They show lots of snow globe dining - always young people smiling.

For our photos, we're in the basement of Bill Scobie in Ottawa, looking at more of his railroad layout.  There's a picture of a small section in progress.
