Illusion of the Day

What did you think of yesterday's elephant?  Here is the traditional set of vase/urn figure ground images.  These are the most famous perception images described by Edward Rubin in 1915.  It is known as Rubin's vase.  Here's the colour vs. black and white rendition.  
 

 
Here's another well-known optic illusion with two renderings of it.

These seem so interesting.  Each one demands to be looked and our brain works to resolve the illusion.

What did we find at Butchart Gardens during our visit?  A worker replacing sod that was yellow from dog pee spots.  Everything stays perfect at Butchart.
