oday I got to type an entirely new date. It occurred to me that this could be a best practice - that’s because January 1st is the peak of the expert advice season.
How long will it last? My guess is a similar time frame as how long it takes to give up on resolutions. That’s 2 weeks. It likely self-extinguishes by the end of January. Then it is time to move on to Valentine’s sentiments and advice.
Here we are into the 2026 “bucket list” - mostly travel to exotic/expensive places in 2026 - witness the Northern Lights in Norway, See the cherry blossoms in Japan. Watch a solar eclipse in Greenland or Iceland. What about getting a seat for a FIFA World Cup game? We know how expensive FIFA tickets are…and scoring tickets will get a person way ahead when it comes to scoring the bucket list at year-end. That’s just a beginning of January distraction, isn’t it?
I went back to my question on whether writing something every day was a best practice. There are lots of articles on the benefit of writing something every day. The internet pops up such strange and humorous things in the retrievals. The one that I enjoyed was about the person’s pc writing on its own. This seems like a story scenario for how AI will take over. Here is the intro:
“I turned my pc on, as I normally do when I noticed these random number being typed all over, this started out of nowhere just today. Does anyone know what this is? Is it a virus or is it my keyboars malfunctioning? Thank you and excuse my poor english.”
Of course the entertainment is in the “expert advice.” Looking through it, it seems to be the original Slop - Human Slop - take a look and tell me what you think - the post is HERE.
