Feb 18 2021 - We're in this together?

Whenever I'm not playing with Millie she wants me to know that "I'm not in this with her." This "we're in this together" thing is front and centre on a dog's mind.

She had the same opinion about Baxter's cat grass from the supermarket.  She's indulging in it right now  as Baxter sits on the desk in his basket with the wheat grass beside him.  I don't know if he'll accept it after Millie has been in it.

I am hoping this will control some of their greenhouse plant foraging.  Wheatgrass is supposed to be good for animals.  It is gluten-free when harvested from a growing plant without any seeds.

Should we humans be eating wheatgrass?  Articles list studies that show the proteins and antioxidant agents might help prevent diseases, boost metabolism and storage of energy and reduce oxidative stress.

And then there's the articles that say it is toxic. That's the Gundry MD team who don't have good things to say, but not much proof identified.  And doesn't Steven Gundry turn out to be controversial.  His books The Longevity Paradox and The Plant Paradox seem to be what has brought forth strong, scathing criticisms.  Could he be the Doctor at the bottom of the scroll who says "Never eat these three foods"?  I haven't clicked on it to find out.

But the debunking article has this to say: "I approach most new ideas with an open mind but also carry the credo “be open minded but not so open that your brains fall out”.

The age of disinformation does bring forth humour!

It is rust and abstract architecture day.  I expect a few of you recognize the building facade of the first picture.
