There is much satire and mockery of the Royal Family in England. I found the following available for sale.
Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and Shakespeare high-waisted underpants. Each pair with a picture of one of these iconic monarchs and historical figures. That seems silly and childish, but the article appeared in a lot of papers.
What about Queen Elizabeth II's underwear supplier losing its royal warrant after revealing Buckingham Palace's bra-fitting details. That was in 2018. Rigby and Weller was the company, and its owner published a book titled "Storm in a D-Cup". That ended the relationship.
There was a a pair of Queen Ellizabeth II's silk underwear up for auction and someone paid $18,000 in 2012. It had been in a Florida man's possession for more than 40 years. After he died, his family decided to cash in - and on Ebay. While the panties were unauthenticated, they got a lot of attention and a very good price. Another pair was auctioned off in 2008 for $9,000.
And there was a pair of Queen Victoria's underwear sold in 2015 and that was 12,000 pounds. She had a 45 inch waist!
Many Royal things have gone up for auction - HERE's a great article listing a few of them. Pieces of wedding cake, letters, all kinds of things.
That article concludes with great places to hide Easter Eggs. In the toothbrush holder, the dishwasher, bookshelves, toilet paper holder, in shoes and so on.
I am ready for tulip time. Here are some pretty tulips from a few years ago.
