Yesterday's headlines all focused on the bride's ugly, bizarre or inappropriate dress.  What about the groom?  articles say that two thirds of men care about their weddings, have dreams and want to be involved in planning them.  Of course, scroll down and learn why many men hate weddings.  How many mistakes do grooms always make about weddings?  One article says 50 mistakes. We ridicule women and their choices.  We are mostly silent on men.  It was hard to find ugly groom outfit articles.  But there certainly are ugly outfits on grooms in the pictures.   Here are great examples of matched couples.  Both bride and groom in ugly outfits.   The headline, though, is about the ugliest wedding dresses.   Oh well.   So what do men think of their own wedding day? There are "weird groom" videos on TikTok.  You will have to separate out the weird dog grooms from the wedding grooms.  I have no idea what the nervous groom getting pranked video is about, but there are some great lilies in the bouquet.  At the same time, there are lots of articles about men's ugly clothing with entertaining headlines like "18 things every man should take out of his closet and burn".  And there's the I Love Ugly clothing company who create clothes for people who question everything. One of those accumulations of crazy pictures on a theme got my attention - it was bizarre wedding dresses.  Supposedly a wedding is a ceremony where two people are "united in marriage".  And wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries and social classes. There are ideas on who does what, on how to plan a wedding, on the wedding ceremony, etiquette, and all sorts of things.  The rule of thumb from slice.ca is that the average wedding  costs around $200 a person/guest.  The proposed average cost is given at $40,000 to $50,000. The wedding planner costs on average $3,500. The venue average is $22,500.  The wedding cake is an average of $600. The average cost is $2,000.  Do you know what the average cost is of the DJ - that's that guy that plays music so loud that you can't talk to the person next to you at the dinner - $1,750.  Stunning! There's a big push on for vaccinations here in Niagara and residents are invited to "Pop into" an upcoming vaccination clinic, or to check out "pop-up vaccination clinics" and to check out "walk-in vaccination locations".   Pop-up is a big thing these days.  There are all kinds of pop up shops and the trend was big by 2019.  Forbes says the trend is here to stay in the retail sector.  There are pop-in stores in an already existing department store, experiential pop-ups, media and entertainment pop-ups (often tied to TV shows), and so on.  That's all the marketing hype from retail consultants.   There must be some  strange and unusual pop-ups given we're in COVID times.  What turns up the bizarre bazaars.  That is because of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. This is a "Japanese manga (comic book) series". It is catching on outside Japan. There are quite a few bizarre bazaar events this summer for JoJo lovers. Here are the top strongest characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Giorno Giovanna. GER is the strongest stand in jojo making Giorno the strongest character. Enrico Pucci. With made in heaven. Johnny Joestar. Funny Valentine. Weather Report. Snail hax. Kars. Ultimate Kars. Diavolo. Now that's a line-up.  And I thought that Weather Report was a jazz fusion group and Funny Valentine a jazz song. Some Lilies on Brian's patio table a few weeks ago.
